Attributing Products to Bin Locations

This page describes how to add / remove / change products in locations in a machine.

1. Navigate to Inventory / Inventory of the machine you wish to change products in.

1. Filter the bin you wish to change using the search functions above the columns. Bins that do not have products in them should be marked as 'SPARE' You can also filter by using the bin dimensions. Best practice is to input 'SPARE' into the sku field and then filter more results by entering the height. You can filter further by adding in the 'Width' and 'Length' if required.

Always pick a bin bigger than product dimensions. If product is a neat 100 x 100, Pick a 200 x 200 bin allowing users to physically pick the product out of the bin with ease.

1. Click Edit, Change Product.

1. In the search box enter the sku or description for your new product.

1. Add in reordering details, min / max and supplier details. Also qty available if the products are already physically in the bin. Click Save.

When removing a product from the machine always change the product code for the bin back to 'SPARE'. Indicating that this bin is available to be used at a later time.
