UI Access and Functions

This is an overview of the basic functions of the ADMIN UI.

Connection status and control bar. This validates that the UI is connected to the PLC of the machine. Confirming that the 'brain' and the UI are connected. When 'IS CONNECTED' is FALSE, the PLC and the UI are not connected and are not communicating. Clicking CONNECT usually fixes this problem. If it will not connect, check circuit breakers in the electrical cabinet, possible that the breaker pr3otecting the PLC has tripped.

Manual control buttons. These will change to various stages of On or OFF dictated by what function the machine is performing. There maybe a need to use the JOG Axis buttons and SEQ RESET button from time to time. All other buttons should not be pressed at all unless indicated to by Trakkit personnel.

Target Status Bar. This bar indicates what targets the machine has been instructed to move to. This could be by a user requesting an order, pick tests or servo jog controls.

Machine Status Bar. The top 2 rows gives the actual axis positions and these numbers will change as the machine moves. The 3 status bars are the indicator of what is happening to the machine at that point. Like a health check. The top bar is the machine fault bar. If there is a fault (E Stop engaged, door open, overtravel etc) it will show PICKER FAULT here. The middle bar is the fault indicator, there are mutliple faults and they can be found here. [link to troubleshooting page] The bottom bar is the sequence indicator, this bar give the current sequence the machine is in. This will change as the machine goes through sequences to perform functions.
